We had a great tour and had a blast playing music for lots of new people. It appears that slogans on large vehicles is all the rage on the lower South Island, as today we hit the mother lode:

Right Recipe
At the End of the Day
Starking
Aberdonian
Traveler's Rest
2T's Inn
Feels So Good
Lugger Louie
This Is It
Menopaws
Flightway Swallow
Almya
Ice Liner
The Uppercut
General Lee
Dilligaf *Anyone know what this means?*
Hobo Heaven
Dawn Breaker
2009-01-19 00:00:00http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/29/Tour-Log-Day-17-Homehttp://www.kingleo.co.nzTour Log Day 17 - Homehttp://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/29/Tour-Log-Day-17-Home Tour Log Day 16 - Last Show!http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/28/Tour-Log-Day-16-Last-ShowToday we crossed the ferry to Picton, performing onboard with the help of great quantities of coffee and our mate Vernon snoozing peacefully. Then we headed to Christchurch for Al's Bar, a fantastic venue run by Al Park. Al had organised an afternoon Blues festival at the Bar featuring some great Christchuch Blues acts and a full house of enthusiastic listeners. Once again we were treated to the great hospitality of Murray and Aileen Straight after a big day. A few more slogans today:

The Phoenix
Shiraz
Free As a Bird
Dreamin Kiwis
Saxon
2009-01-18 00:00:00http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/28/Tour-Log-Day-16-Last-Showhttp://www.kingleo.co.nzTour Log Day 16 - Last Show!http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/28/Tour-Log-Day-16-Last-Show Tour Log Day 15http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/27/Tour-Log-Day-15Today we spent some time in Wellington with our good mate Matt Langley, and we stayed at one of the backpackers we've ever stayed at. Tonight we played a gig at Happy with Matt opening up. Matt did a great set, and we had a good time laying down some Blues for the folks, including some heavy Wellington Blues musos. No road slogans today, as we spent our time in the city.
2009-01-17 00:00:00http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/27/Tour-Log-Day-15http://www.kingleo.co.nzTour Log Day 15http://www.kingleo.co.nz/news/27/Tour-Log-Day-15
