Tour Log Day 3 - 5th Jan 2009

Today we rode the ferry from Picton to Wellington and played music on board in the bar. It might have been the smallest stage any of us had seen or played on. Convenient windows behind us provided withering heat while we played. But the Beige Bandit shot off the ferry like a bullet into the fresh air, and we made our way to Titahi Bay. Aunt Daisy's Boathouse Cafe was the venue, and we had a great gig. Siggy Woolloff was our magnanimous host, and she has a great cafe in an amazing location overlooking the Bay. We recommend it to any musos out there looking for a great venue, and anyone looking for great food and drink.

Unfortunately our short driving time prevented us from spotting any new vehicle slogans, but expect more soon.
