Admission to the folk club night is just a few bucks, and Mad Love will be available for sale.

Our double-album, Mad Love, is back from the manufacturer, and it is now available! The two-cd package includes one cd of all original music and one cd of great tunes from some of our favourite Blues artiists, including Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Guitar Slim and Little Milton. Lyrics are included for the originals, and the album is 20 tracks in total.
You can purchase Mad Love
from our website for $31.50 (post included), and it will also be available at our shows.
"This double CD..contains power, pace and a wealth of talent especially on songs including Baby Don't Wanna, Honesty and I Can Taste the Love. With all hot-blooded originals on the first CD and homage to its blues influences from Muddy Waters to Little Walter on the second, Mad Love is one handsome package" - Stephen Scott, Waikato Times
We headed home to Dunedin from Christchurch today, glad to get back to family and friends. We had a great tour and had a blast playing music for lots of new people. It appears that slogans on large vehicles is all the rage on the lower South Island, as today we hit the mother lode:
Right Recipe
At the End of the Day
Starking
Aberdonian
Traveler's Rest
2T's Inn
Feels So Good
Lugger Louie
This Is It
Menopaws
Flightway Swallow
Almya
Ice Liner
The Uppercut
General Lee
Dilligaf *Anyone know what this means?*
Hobo Heaven
Dawn Breaker
Today we crossed the ferry to Picton, performing onboard with the help of great quantities of coffee and our mate Vernon snoozing peacefully. Then we headed to Christchurch for Al's Bar, a fantastic venue run by Al Park. Al had organised an afternoon Blues festival at the Bar featuring some great Christchuch Blues acts and a full house of enthusiastic listeners. Once again we were treated to the great hospitality of Murray and Aileen Straight after a big day. A few more slogans today:
The Phoenix
Shiraz
Free As a Bird
Dreamin Kiwis
Saxon
Today we spent some time in Wellington with our good mate Matt Langley, and we stayed at one of the backpackers we've ever stayed at. Tonight we played a gig at Happy with Matt opening up. Matt did a great set, and we had a good time laying down some Blues for the folks, including some heavy Wellington Blues musos. No road slogans today, as we spent our time in the city.
We rolled into Raumati South for a show at Lembas this evening. Gail, who owns Lembas, was a great host, and she graciously offered her home for accommodation. The food, drink and staff at the cafe were outstanding, and we highly recommend it. Today was had a nice new batch of slogans:
Pegasus
Buzz
Wandaful
Club Pink
Bedrock
We headed back to the West side for a show at Biddy Mulligan's in Hamilton. We were invited by Nate Taiapa, who opened the show with Blues Club regulars John and Brian. Nate hosts the Blues Room blues radio show, and he blows the hell out the harmonica. We're hoping to lure him down to Dunedin for some shows in the future. We were delighted with unexpected visits from Dunedin mates Tia and David. Just one slogan on the road today:
Time is Tight
